Around 10:00p.m.The Browns Mills Fire Company and NJ State
Forestry, and Fort Dix Brush Trucks were called to Taft St.
for a brush fire Browns Mills Chief arrived on location to
find about an half acre on fire. State Forestry and Fort Dix
brush trucks went into the woods to extinguished the fire
and Browns Mills Fire Company refilled the brush trucks.
Then the State called a bulldozer to plow the perimeter
where the fire was. No injuries were reported.
